I’ve officially made Romanticism my religion on Facebook. Because my Church is ruinous, ivy-clad, melancholy and soaked in an atmosphere of gloom and introspection. Pre-Raphaelitism is now under my ‘political views’ - on election day the ballot-papers will look thus: Conservative; Labour; Liberal Democrats; The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
